When we received the R&D email and saw that the subject stated: “Barcelona elopement on a sailboat” We freaked out!
Richard and Daniel traveled to Barcelona from Florida to celebrate their intimate ceremony on a sailboat.
They chose Barcelona for the time, its architecture and for being an LGTBI friendly city.
They were prepared on the sailboat, and before the ceremony, we took some photos of the Gothic Quarter and the Parc de la Ciutadella.
Then we embark again on the sailboat, to celebrate its elopement, and sail to see the sunset with the city of Barcelona as the backdrop.
It was an intimate and very romantic ceremony. Richard and Daniel read each other their vows, said “Yes, I want to”, put on the rings and kissed in the light of a beautiful late summer sunset.
Then they cut the cake, toasted Champagne, and sailed until the sun went down behind the city of Barcelona.
And last but not least … with this video we won the award for “Best Video of the Year 2019” by Junebug Weddings !! Without a doubt the most influential and important wedding blog in the United States !!
